FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – HENLEY GROUP
Ian Rickwood is a seasoned real estate investor, developer and entrepreneur. He founded and became CEO of Henley in 2006 growing the business into the broad Private Equity Real Estate business it is today. Prior to Henley he managed and grew two retail companies between 1996 and 2006 along with a small Propco and consultancy business. Ian has a degree in economics and started life in the corporate world with Procter and Gamble, later moving to PepsiCo where he was the European Sales and Marketing Director.
MANAGING DIRECTOR HENLEY SOCIAL INVESTMENTS
Andy Brandon is an experienced investment professional and one of the founding partners of the Henley private equity group, where he has worked for the last 13 years. During this time, Andy has held key roles as both CFO and CIO, and helped build a large multi-sector portfolio of residential and commercial investment properties in the UK, Europe and USA. Andy became the MD of Henley’s social investments business in July 2018.

Stuart joined Henley as CFO in 2015, bringing a broad range of experience gained over 15 years in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Henley, he spent seven years as COO for CBRE Global Investment Partners, managing $13b of equity invested globally in over 250 different investments, with responsibility for fund and investment structuring, investor relations, financial and investor reporting, operational due diligence, IT and HR. Stuart also acted as a Board Director of regulated funds in the UK, Ireland and Luxembourg. Stuart has previously held roles at Morgan Stanley, Apollo and JP Morgan. In 2018 Stuart was made MD for the new Funds Management business of Henley, to complement its private equity business.

Justin joined Henley bringing a broad range of international real estate and private equity investing experience. Prior to Henley, Justin was a Principal at The Blackstone Group, focusing on UK and European real estate. Previously, he worked at Warburg Pincus in New York and GI Partners in California, investing in Real Estate, Hospitality, Healthcare and Infrastructure, and served on the board of CenterPoint Properties Trust. He began his career at JP Morgan in New York. Justin holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.

Garrett Solomon joined Henley in August 2015. Prior to Henley, Garrett was at Corbelis, which was founded in 2012 and led by him. He is an industry veteran and the former president of RPL (residential development affiliate of a RE private equity firm, Rockpoint Group). He has been integral to the vision for Willowsford, a residential community that cultivates a new way of living and led the project’s acquisition, the creation of the local development team and the subsequent planning and development effort.
Since 1995, Corbelis’ senior executives have acquired, developed and/or managed more than 75 planned residential communities across the USA with a total capitalization exceeding $5 bn.
Garrett began his career at Morgan Stanley as an analyst and within a short time became VP at Westbrook Partners until 1996 when he was made COO, MD, Director of Acquisitions at Terrabrook (Westerra management).
CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER HENLEY GROUP
Emma Rickwood was the creative force behind Henley’s well established residential development business since inception in 2006. Emma has been involved in property development and design for the last 20 years on both commercial and residential projects. Emma has been responsible for over 50 development sites in that time across the UK, USA, and Europe. She has recently moved from a day to day operational role to a Non Exec of the group leading the groups marketing and strategic technology.
MANAGING DIRECTOR DEVELOPMENT & ASSET MANAGEMENT
Warwick Hunter joins us from Qatari Diar, where he was Development Director running major projects such as The Chelsea Barracks and the conversion of the old US Embassy in Grosvenor Square. Warwick brings a wealth of experience having worked across the development business in most sectors for firms such as Great Portland Estates and Greycoat. Prior to that he qualified as a surveyor with Drivers Jonas. Warwick will also be MD of Asset Management for the group working on company-managed assets and closely with JV partners on other assets.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Ben McComb joined Henley Group as CFO in October 2018 and has more than 20 years of experience, including more than 15 years leading finance teams within alternative investments. He joined Henley from Novalpina Capital, a pan-European private equity firm, where he was CFO. Ben was previously CFO at Brockton Capital, a UK-based private equity real estate firm, and Head of Fund Reporting at Doughty Hanson, managing the fund reporting and administration for four private equity funds, two real estate funds and two venture capital funds. Ben started his career with roles at UBS Private Equity, AXA Investment Managers and Mace Limited. Ben received his Bachelor of Commerce from Australian National University and is a CIMA qualified accountant.
GROUP DIRECTOR OF INVESTOR RELATIONS
Tony Wilcox is the Group Director of Investor Relations for Henley responsible for building their global distribution and capital raising capability. He brings over 25 years of broad based financial and commercial acumen. Tony spent 12 years at board level in international banking; initially with Lloyds Bank and more recently Danske Bank. He has a strong track record of building balance sheets and P&L’s specialising in lending, investments, wealth management and private banking. Tony has a first class degree in business and started his corporate life with Procter & Gamble working in a number of sales, marketing and commercial roles in numerous countries across Europe and Africa.
Jonathon joined Henley in February 2019 heading up our Build to Rent business. Prior to this Jonathon was formerly Managing Director of Atlas Residential; a North American headquartered specialist multifamily / Build to Rent developer & operator. Before joining Atlas, Jonathon ran the London office of Carlton Group, a New York headquartered global boutique real estate investment bank specialising in corporate finance advisory, debt / equity placement and commercial loan sales.
Jonathon holds committee positions within The British Property Federation, Urban Land Institute and Commercial Real Estate Finance Council Europe. He is a founding board member and former President of The UK Apartment Association and a Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government Build to Rent joint committee member.
JV PARTNER & MANAGING DIRECTOR HENLEY CAMLAND
Peter Nelson has 30 years experience in all aspects of the Residential Land and Infrastructure Sector. He has been leading teams increasing value to large-scale residential land for the last 15 years either directly or as an advisor. He formed and has been a major shareholder of Camland Developments since 2008. Prior to this Peter was Managing Director at Cofton Ltd. acquiring and subsequently servicing several challenging sites from 500 to 3,000 residential units. Qualifying as a Quantity Surveyor, Peter spent the initial 10 years in the housebuilding industry and five further years as Land Development Manager.
JV PARTNER & DIRECTOR HENLEY CAMLAND
Prior to forming Henley Camland, Norman Paske has been a Chartered Surveyor and entrepreneur for 28 years in private practice acting for landowners and house builders where he dealt with immediate and strategic residential land. He is a long-term property investor in UK residential and commercial property. From 1996 to 2011 he was a Director and Shareholder in a small residential development business (Grace Homes Ltd). He founded (1996) developed and sold (2011) an insurance brokerage called Farmers and Mercantile.
